Reclassification and Recataloguing
This type of project can be done for automated and non-automated libraries using manual and, in some cases, machine matching methods of conversion. A new full MARC database is produced with new labels and, if necessary, cards and/or card sets. The physical re-labeling and re-shelving of each item can be handled by DSS or the library staff themselves.
