Shelf-Ready/CIRC-Ready

DSS can provide the labour required to make items shelf-ready or CIRC-ready using products generated from the library's OPUS database or from OPUS MARC records.
As a database is created, circulation data (barcode information, etc.) may be entered and stored within the MARC record. Then, when the records are output for the library, circulation information is also sent for loading into the library's local system.
In the instance of CIRC-ready records, no linking is required once the records have been loaded, making them immediately available for circulation.
